Get DNSSEC running and secure your domain

  1. Enable DNSSEC - Activating DNSSEC creates a unique pair of security keys: one public and one private.
  2. Share the Public Key - The public key is added to the domain settings with the registrar for verification.
  3. Sign DNS Records - The private key is used to digitally sign DNS data, proving it hasn’t been altered.
  4. Process a DNS Query - When a user visits a domain, their resolver checks the DNS response.
  5. Verify the Signature - The resolver uses the public key to confirm the data is valid and trustworthy.
  6. Authenticate the Connection - If the signatures match, the domain is verified as genuine; if not, the request is rejected.
